This is the 9th Season of UNFIX NYC!! 
Our theme for UNFIX NYC 2025 is "Disturbance." Disruptions to our social and ecological systems can have profound effects, from the catastrophic to the regenerative. How have disturbances affected your life and your relationship with your community and the natural environment? Can we be sensitive to disturbance and also resilient in response?
About UNFIX and UNFIX NYC
UNFIX NYC is a collaboration between UNFIX festival and RenGyoSoh. The broader UNFIX festival is a festival for performance and ecology based in Scotland, founded by artistic director Paul Michael Henry. RenGyoSoh has been holding the NYC version of the UNFIX festival in a local space since 2016.  (MORE ABOUT)

UNFIX NYC seeks to address Ecological crisis and renewal through our Bodies, Minds & Souls and aims to raise ecological awareness through arts. What is 'ecology'? Ecology is the study of all living beings on this planet and their relationships with each other and with the physical environment. In our UNFIX NYC festival, we broaden the definition of ecology to include how we can live embedded within ecological systems in a way that supports those systems, ourselves and each other. How we can live without destroying, harming, and hurting each other? The world is not a 'fix'ed place. The world is continuously changing; evolving; we are changing.

Love Changes Everything (Part 1)

Filmed at my late father’s place in Victoria, Australia, the film is a homage to the landscape that he loved and nurtured over a period of twenty years. It is imbued with a sense of the loss of my father, an affection for the landscape, as well as the knowledge that it is under threat due to the environmental crisis the world is facing.

Collective Unconscious

It was the film and live dance performance at Hudson Valley Park update NY. This film include the image of Hiroshima atomic bomb and city in Ukraine Zaporizhzhia recently destroyed in war. This film is modified with additional dance video for Unfix film Festival 2025
Temple Lament - Elemental Transformations
