Vol.4 "What Art Can Do"

I met a female audience during Edinburgh tour.
She came to see Butoh Medea twice. The first time, she came with her parents. I didn't meet her at that time. I just heard from my crew there was a girl who was crying. A week later- a day before the final performance,  after I exsied theatre, there was her, waitig for me with her friend. She told me, with shaking, she came to see it twice,  (I can tell she was very sincere to stand there to tell me something) and told me that she had never seen something like this in her entire life, and did something to her.

The Next day, the final performance at Edinburgh. After the  last,  the 21st show is over, I exsited the theatre. She was standing there. I was surprised. She didn't see the last show, but she came to give me a letter and her painting. That moved me. She wanted to tell me how she appreciated by our work.  She felt something real. something truth that speaks to deep side of herself. -it was more truth than reality.- she said.

The next day, I  climbed Arthur's Seat alone. At the top of the montain- you can see entire Edinburgh city- I read the letter. and saw her paintig. Seeing Butoh Medea gave her a couradge  to believe what she wanted to believe again.  "Thank you for reminding me what Art can do. What we all aspire to." she wrote the sentenses in the back of her painting.

"What Art Can Do" this is a traiumph of Edinburgh tour. This is the reason we do what we do. This is what we wanted.
Lets keep creating!
