The Artist's Lab

The RGS Artist Lab (AKA Asobi-Ba/Playground) is an explorational, transformational and developmental program for early-to-mid career artists who are interested in applying RGS Butoh, Movement, and Physical Theatre into their own work. The purpose of this program is to create an opportunity (Ba) for artists to explore their creativity with playful spirits (Asobi) to bloom their potential gifts. We support the work with lighting and sound resources for your new work to be seen in a public setting and to receive constructive feedback for your future development.
