"Through superb production elements, SHINKA is the visceral and intellectual made manifest, with emotional and cognitive power and clarity in every detail of story arc, movement, sound, lighting, costume ... yet encompassing a wealth of literary, psychological, sociological, evolutionary references." - Karen Shod (News Re DC Theatre Area)
THANK YOU FOR COMING TO SEE SHINKA!
SHINKA explores the mystery of living beings. Mankind has developed society rapidly. Fear of death, hope for life. We are all part of this eco-system; we are one, evolving every single moment together. And yet we struggle, create, and destroy. By using Butoh and contemporary dance we explore life itself physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually through SHINKA.
