Artist's LAB #5
IT TAKES BALLS
Saturday, January 27th, 2024
7:30pm
At Grace & St. Paul's Church
123 West 71st Street, New York

ABOUT THE SHOW:
Using physical theatre, the structure of a soccer game and Butoh, Andrew uses their body to transform, revere, resurrect and play ball. Their rigorous, physical expression in conversation with their lightness and sense of play captures the sensitivity of the human experience. An exploration of duration, endurance and the fucking game of soccer. A cross-pollination of theatre, dance, and Butoh from the minds of Lily Linz (Director/Co-Creator) and Andrew Stout (Performer/Co-Creator).

Performer/Co-Creator: Andrew Stout
Director/Co-Creator: Lily Linz
Produced by Artists' LAB, RenGyoSoh (Chase Kniffen&Saki Kawamura)
