There is a Japanese proverb: “Even a one-inch insect has a half-inch soul” which means “even the smallest being has a soul, and its own will, so do not make light of it.” I was inspired by this proverb and the life and death of insects. Where do living beings on earth come from? We are exploring life itself (Inochi/命) through this piece. 骸/MuKuRo is an empty body without a life after death. It is like an empty shell.
